How to Use
- Prepare Your Arm: Ensure your mid-upper arm circumference falls within the 22–42 cm range. Remove any tight or thick clothing covering the upper arm.
- Position the Cuff: Slide the cuff onto your left upper arm so that the tubing points down towards your inner forearm and the artery mark is placed over your brachial artery.
- Align and Secure: Place the bottom edge of the cuff about 1 - 2 cm above the crease of your elbow. Pull the end of the cuff to wrap it snugly—ensure you can still slide two fingers between the arm and the cuff.
- Connect: Securely plug the cuff tube connector into the compatible socket on your Microlife monitor until you hear a distinct "click".
- Measure: Rest your arm on a table with the cuff at heart level. Sit still, avoid talking, and press the start button.
Precautions & Disclaimer
- Sizing is critical: Using an incorrectly sized cuff can cause systolic pressure measurement errors.
- Skin irritation: If you experience any skin irritation or discomfort from the material, stop using the cuff and consult a doctor.
- Damaged parts: Inspect the tube and cuff for signs of damage; do not use the product if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
- Washing: Do not use fabric softeners or water hotter than 30°C. Completely air dry the cover by line drying.
